Seoul - An actress in the popular Korean drama, Boys Over Flowers, was found dead last Saturday in an apparent suicide, fuelling talk that the serial is jinxed.

Jang Ja Yeon, 26, played Sunny, one of a trio of mean girls who harass heroine Geum Jan Di (played by Gu Hye Seon) in the Korean version of the hit Taiwanese idol drama, Meteor Garden.

Police said Jang's older sister found her hanging on the banister of a staircase in their house in South Korea's Gyeonggi province.

She reportedly told police that Jang suffered from depression. Police said there were no signs of foul play and were expected to rule her death as a suicide, the Korea Herald reported.

A friend told reporters that Jang left a six-page note detailing her contract problems with her management company.

Her death has intensified talk on the Internet that Boys Over Flowers is cursed.

Since January, the serial's four male lead actors Lee Min Ho, Kim Hyun Joong, Kim Joon and Kim Bum as well as lead actress Gu have been hit by a series of road accidents.

Kim Hyun Joong escaped injury on Jan 21 when a car he was in was badly smashed after a road collision.

The next day, Kim Joon was behind the wheel when he crashed into another car but he continued on his way to the film set.

On Jan 27, Lee Min Ho had just alighted from a car driven by his manager when it collided with another vehicle.

Kim Bum was still being treated for a Feb 1 fender bender when the vehicle he was in crashed into a road railing on Feb 9 and he had to have his toe stitched.

Gu was hurt in a diving scene in January and then injured her lips in a traffic accident on Feb 27. KBS had to cancel airing an episode on March 2 as filming was hampered.

Fans on the Internet said the actors had not been getting enough sleep because of the hectic filming schedule.

saturday was the worst day of my life!!!-.-

ok,so let me tell ya bout it.first thing,thought today gt ngaji so wake up early in the morning and siap2.when i reach and knocked,guess wat?there was no class!-.-i felt so paisey!ughhs,!but i gt 2 free epok2 from my ustaz.hauhauahu!that was the first!second thing,i fell on the escalator at gek poh while trying to save my brother.aku jatoh mcm nangker busok!-.-save from wat?my brother was playing by the edge of the escaltor and holding the handle.the handle was moving rite?so he went up and up.and my mother was shouting like a gorilla telling me to catch up.so,i just ran up wit my STUPID slipper!and the slipper was loose and i fell like wth!and my brother was okay!ppl were staring and shouting to quickly save my bro.sheesh.tau pekik tapi tk tau tlg.the most embarassing thing was i fell rite in front of many ppl!-.-.-

meet the auntie.(:the most disgusting auntie i had ever seen in my whole entire life.i took the picture when she was digging her ear wit a cotton bud and didn't notice it.(:haha.it was taken like a month ago and i forgt to upload it.she was sitting in front of us and she started digging her nose.iira caught her red handed and by that time,we almost puked cause she dig her nose and wiped it with her t-shirt like omgod!-.-and wow,she brought along her cotton bud(mcm supplier gtu!)and after she dig her ear,she use her cotton bud and wiped it at her pants.okay,that woman,is so not hygenic!ughhs,talking bout her is making me getting goosebumps.better start doing my updates.(:

today;
went to sch alone cause its wednesday!she started sch late on a wed.soo,tmr gg to meet this brat girl tmr.and she keeps complaining that i'm always late.hahahah!duhh!(:had SEL and PE today.and eng rock and at the same time sux cause u noe y?first,we went to the library.2nd we the three girls keep talking and laughing all the way and not doing our hwk.3rd,mr kesavan was fed up wit us cause he had give us loads of warnings yet in the end,he fumed up and told us to separate!-.-ughsss.dammit!then it was sel,can i say,todays game is so boring?pe?was the funniest moment.hahah!dhen music,iira started to feelpain cause she peirced her ears and the thing is that,the person peirced at the wrong position.-.-so her head and her jawbone started to swell up i think.and the thing was.both of them,iira and nat,cuddled up together!aint they sweet!((:hee.in the bus somemore!((:
